We all want our dogs and cats to lead happy, healthy lives, whether they are show champions or family pets. Provide them with a diet that is as near
to nature as possible, add natural supplements where appropriate and use herbal medicines for everyday complaints, and you will be giving them what all animals deserve - the benefit of natural good health.
The range of veterinary herbal medicines can be identified by the letters Vm followed by the Manufacturing Authorization number on each container. They are used for the treatment of specific conditions and are controlled under the terms and conditions of the Medicines Act 1968. They are
supported by clinical and pharmaceutical data, giving you the guarantee that they not only conform to strict criteria on purity and safety but they have been proved by practicing veterinary surgeons to be effective for the conditions for which they are recommended.
The dietary supplements are made to the same exacting standards and specifications as our medicines but are formulated to be given as additions to the diet. They may be used in conjunction with herbal medicines.
All products are safe to administer to animals over 8 weeks of age and unless otherwise stated may be given to pregnant or lactating females. All Dorwest Herbs products have dosages, indications and “best before” or “expiry” dates on the containers but you may find the following general guide useful. If possible, when giving a course of tablets, it is advisable to divide the daily dose into two, giving half in the morning and half in the evening.
