Our licensed manufacturing site has trained personnel at all levels as well as our own on-site laboratory facilities. We are the only company producing veterinary herbal medicines that have total control on all the processes involved in formulation, manufacturing, testing, packaging, storage and the distribution of our products. Quality controls checks are made on all raw materials before they are accepted, using scientific methods to ensure that they meet the specifications of the British Herbal or European Pharmacopoeia and to confirm that there has been no pollution or contamination. During manufacture tests are carried out to confirm conformity and purity, microbiological monitoring takes place as well as stability testing on the finished products to ensure that the medicines retain their strength and effectiveness through their storage and shelf life. Records are kept of any suspected adverse reactions, although as you would expect with herbal medicines, these are virtually non-existent.
As we consider it important that all herbal products are produced to the same high standards, we follow the same procedures and carry out the same testing and monitoring procedures on our entire range of supplements and other products.We regularly inspect and audit all our suppliers from label manufacturers to raw material growers, to ensure that they meet our exacting quality standards.
