Our homoopathic range was introduced in 1997 in response to customer demand. It has been compiled in consultation with homooepathic veterinary advisors to ensure that the remedies offered are safe for you to give to your animals and so can be used with the same confidence as our other product ranges.

POTENCIES
Homoopathic strengths, or potencies, seem unusual in so much as the more diluted the 'mother tincture' from which the remedy is prepared, the stronger the remedy. So a 6C remedy is the least potent and a 30C is the strongest. The higher the potency the quicker and deeper its reaction. The 30C potency is the highest that is normally available for self-administration.

EASY TO ADMINISTER

Each dispenser contains approximately 100 pillules and is unique as it enables the tiny pillules to be administered straight into the mouth of the
animal without being touched by the hand, as this should be avoided when giving homoeopathic remedies. The inner vial of the dispenser is made of glass and care should therefore be taken to ensure this doesn't break and contaminate the remedies. Hold vial upside down, twist lid to release one sucrose ball, remove cap and drop directly into the back of the mmouth where it will quickly dissolve. A handy storage cassette box, which holds six remedies, is available.

DOSAGES

The dose is always the same for any size or breed of animal but the frequency of administration varies according to the condition being treated, as in the following example: such as shock, trauma or injury where Arnica 15C would be the remedy. One pillule 3 or 4 times daily for longer term treatment such as sprains or strains where Symphytum 15C would be used.

It is preferable, but not essential, to avoid giving homœopathic remedies within 15 minutes of food or drink. In the past, some homœopaths advised that the remedies should not be given with strong smelling food or medicines, such as garlic. However having taken advice from today's foremost homoeopathic vets, we are pleased to be able to reassure clients that there is no need to discontinue giving garlic in any form while also giving homoeopathic remedies.

Helps the birth process and will quickly increase contractions and aid delivery.

Administration : Give one every hour as soon as the contactions begin. Continue until delivery is completed.

Used for many types of minor problems, but especially useful for smelly ears, especially with a discharge and
accompanied by a strong smell.

Administration : Give one every 2 hours for up to 6 hours, then reduce to one, 4 times daily for 7 - 10 days or until condition improves. For persistent problems this may be repeated monthly to keep the condition under control.

Being prepared from Comfrey Herbs, whose old fashioned country name is “Knitbone”, it is not suprising that this is used to speed up recovery following damage caused through strains and that it also supports healthy ligaments and tendons.

Administration : Give one 3 times per day for 10 days. Repeat after ten days if required.

Used to suppress milk production and so especially useful for bitches experiencing phantom pregnancies.

Administration : Give one every 2 hours for the first 12 hours, then reduce to one, 3 times daily until relief is obtained.
